Located in Cape Town, the company has established itself as one of the few local metal pressing operations able to meet the exacting standards of South Africa’s world-class automotive industry and is a leading supplier of safety-critical components. Owner-operated and managed, the company has stablished new benchmarks for delivering on spec, on time and on budget. The tool room lies at the heart of company’s success. Employing some of the finest craftsmen in the industry, the company uses the latest technology to produce tools of the highest quality and standard. Spare production capacity is available to outside organisations wishing to commission tool design and manufacturing. Company uses the Solidworks modelling package, and can accept Cad data in most common formats. High precision metal forming is the hallmark by which the company has become known. Comprising four production lines and including presses ranging from 60 to 200t capacity – the company is ideally suited to the closetolerance manufacture of almost any component. All their lines are equipped with decoilers and automatic feeders. Their mechanical presses are interlinked by roller conveyors, to minimise wip and improve materialshandling, housekeeping and ergonomics. In January 2008 the company achieved ISO/ TS 16949:2002 rating, thereby establishing themselves as a World Class supplier into the Automotive Industry.

Working as an intern with the company you will be involved with all aspects of Automotive Engineering related to metal pressings and sub assemblies. You will work alongside some of the top craftsmen in South Africa in this industry and gain excellent experience in High precision metal forming. Your duties will be
varied and numerous and you will also gain exposure to areas from planning, design to manufacturing.
