Vacancies
As Magister mainly deals with Students and Volunteers, we permanently take on two students at a time to complete their internships in our own office in Cape Town. Excellent supervision is given as Magister has had interns for many years. Specific projects and thesis projects with Magister are also possible according to your study field, interests and time period. Below are some general tasks and duties:
- General orientation of new students, their introduction to Cape Town
- Student Welfare to our present participants in Cape Town and serving as their contact person
- Setting up of our adventure trips, weekly activities, getaways and recruiting of participants
- Meet and greet of the new arrivals to Cape Town
- Socializing with the Magister commune
- Composing and editing the weekly newsletter
- Research, Marketing and Design tasks
- Social Media tasks
- Text writing and possible translations for the website into your mother tongue if needed
- Development of marketing and student recruitment strategies for our organization
- Other tasks depend on your individual needs and study requirements
Requirements
- Study background in Tourism, Marketing, PR, HR or a related field
- Internship period of at least 3 months
- Between 24-28 years old
- Female
- Preferably German, Dutch or French
- Outdoor and sporty Creative, can take initiative and have leadership qualities
- To be willing and able to drive
- To be reliable and loyal and able to work independently
