Requirements
Magister organizes compulsory Internship posts, Volunteer work, Lessons, Language courses, Accommodation and Activities and Trips for interns and volunteers. Magister also offers opportunities to individuals who would like to discover Cape Town and
Southern Africa on their own. The following requirements are essential:
- Minimum age of 18 years
- If applying for an internship you should be a student at a university/college or have completed an apprenticeship with at least two years work experience. If applying for a volunteer period you should be motivated to make a difference and adapt easily to new situations.
- Internship or volunteer period of at least 4 weeks
- Good working English (spoken and written)
- Letter of Motivation including internship/ volunteer period, motivation and qualifications sample
- Full Curriculum Vitae including picture and past study and work experience sample
- Copy of your study record or apprenticeship certificate (scanned or faxed).
- A valid passport.
- A valid visa for an internship.
- Travel medical insurance valid for South Africa.
- Internship/ Volonteer contract from Magister.
- Motivation, the desire to learn, adaptability and flexibility are presupposed.
