Cape Town is one of the three best kiteboarding spots in the world! The wind conditions are perfect for beginners and professionals and with the view of Table Mountain you can enjoy this water sport even more. Have you always wanted to try
the combination of kiting and surfing? Langebaan Lagoon is situated an hour's drive from Cape Town and due to its flat and shallow water it provides the ideal conditions for beginners. There is an excellent crash course available that will teach you all the basics and prepare you for your entry into the world of kitesurfing.
This beginner kitesurfing course in Langebaan costs only R 2185 as follows:
Beginner kitesurfing course with up to 4 people and a total of 10 hours.
First Session - on land - 3 hours (usually in the morning)
Second Session - in the water - 3 hours (usually in the afternoon)
Third Session - in the water - 4 hours (usually in the afternoon)
During the course you will master the following skills:
• Basic knowledge of kiting, kite set-up, equipment choice
• Safety regulations, weather conditions
• Physical behavior • Entry into the water
• Water starts Refresher courses and private lessons are also available at any time!
Rental of boards is possible on an hourly or weekly basis. Kites cannot be hired! www.capesport.co.za
