We offer you several ways to become friends with your board, wetsuit and surf instructor, whether it be a week or just a 2-hour introductory course on the weekend. We will assist you in selecting a course that best fits your needs. Muizenberg is situated 20 minutes away from Cape Town and has probably the best conditions for surfing in both Summer and Winter. Every Saturday you can book a cheap two-hour group course at one of the well known surf schools, including a surf board, wetsuit and surf instructor. Single and double lessons with personal instructors are also available 7 days a week.
We can also organize an intensive 1-2 week course if you want to become an instant champion surfer!! If you are already experienced in surfing and you only need the necessary equipment, the surf shops in Muizenberg offer great rates for surfboard and wetsuit combos as well as just surf board rentals.
For longer stays, it is advisable to buy your own wetsuit or secondhand surfboard. The buying and selling of second hand sports equipment is very popular amongst students and also common in most of the surf shops.
