This will also incorporate stability testing according to a scheduled protocol

Internship tasks:
They have a major German and French based clientele, which has in turn created an opportunity for an intern in a tourism/market related environment, working as a Hospitality Desk/Concierge to assist guests in the Ritz and Eastern Boulevard Hotel with any tour and travel related information they might require. The prospective person will be required to: -Operate the desk at daily given hours and carry out administrative tasks
Guest Liaison:

-Tour bookings and sales
Other Duties:
-Collection of air tickets

They also have agreements in place with top ground handlers and transfer companies outside South Africa’s borders to ensure that all trips run smoothly.

Internship tasks:
-Working with German group tours ranging from a Microbus to luxury coaches
-Corresponding with the overseas operators in Germany
-You will be involved in the whole process from before the clients have arrived to after they leave
-As soon as a quotation has been accepted for a tour or tour series respectively you will be given the arrival date as well as the duration of the tour for reservation and you will then take over the client and cater to all their needs in South Africa
-Amongst other things, you will be required to book hotels, monitor the status of the tour by requesting regular updates from the overseas operator, compile a tour guide package and be responsible for de-briefing of tour guides/ tour reports
